The Caucasus Cooperation Foundation for Youth Development (CCFYD) pursues a clearly defined purpose and a long-term strategy. Together, they form the foundation of our non-profit work and ensure that our projects are implemented effectively, sustainably and responsibly.
The purpose of CCFYD is to promote the holistic development of children and young people. We support young people in their physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual development and help strengthen their individual abilities and future opportunities in a sustainable way.
Our commitment extends across international contexts and includes both formal and non-formal education, as well as intercultural exchange. The geographical focus of our work lies in the South Caucasus, particularly in Georgia.
CCFYD is a non-profit foundation and operates on a not-for-profit basis. The foundation is politically and religiously neutral. To fulfil its purpose, CCFYD may initiate and implement its own projects, support existing initiatives, participate in activities with similar objectives and, where necessary, acquire property.
To fulfil its purpose effectively, CCFYD focuses its financial and human resources on carefully selected areas of action. Our strategic approach ensures that resources are directed where they can create the greatest long-term benefit for children and young people.
The foundation focuses in particular on:
