Team

“Gamarjoba-გამარჯობა” means “Hello” in Georgian and this is the greeting I begin my Introduction with….

DSC_1971It is both an honour and responsibility to be Director of the first International Scout Centre in Georgia and the Caucasus region. After 8 years of working as a professional lawyer I have returned to the field I most enjoy, that of youth work and scouting. Our team mission is to provide a safe, friendly and secure environment for young people to develop through tried and tested scouting methods in the outdoor environment. Our vision is to see ISCR become a centre of excellence for young people recognized at all levels and by youth around the world. We are very pleased to invite you to our small but beautiful country of Georgia and show you everything this special country has to offer. – Dato Metreveli

mariami.3I am Mariami and I head the financial section with reponsibility for the finances at ISCR and am also Deputy Director. I have been working for 4 years at ISCR and the Centre has come to mean a lot to me. When someone asks about myself, I immediately start talking about the scout centre in Georgia and I’m proud to be working there. – Mariam Qochoradze
